Chapter Two: A Talon Slashed Crown
The blank, pale sky looked like it was shrinking away, fading to a black the color of tar. It fit the hulking mass leaning against the limestone window perfectly. Its long black cloak fell tattered and ripped around his feet. The silver, spun wool that twisted and marched down the solid black cloak glinted brightly in the last feeble rays of the retreating sun. The mass' hood covered all but a wide, jarring smile.
The stone It rested on felt cold. An alabaster throne sat at the far edge of a circular, dome-capped room. The window It leaned against was one of only two spanning the walls, though the c

It was near sunset when he returned. He was greeted, as usual, with the first draft of dinner flying through the door as the two boys ran past him and out the door. The youngest was small, pale, and brown of hair. He had been into his older sisters' room again; brightly colored strands of silk trailed behind him. The older boy was chasing him out the door. ...So.
...Yeah.
I posted Chapter 1 of my fantasy epic last night. I'm just going to be calling it "Fate" for the time being until I can pin down a decent title for the entire thing. Chapter 2 WILL be coming soon, I'd like to get Chapter 3 done before I post 2 and 3's ALMOST done so your wait won't be too long! So I'll leave you with a nice teaser:
Chapter 2 will be called "A Talon Slashed Crown"
In other news (since I haven't updated a journal since this time last year) I am now a Sophomore in college and am taking easier classes this time around (thank god) so I should be pumping these babies out pretty fast. XD
So College is in full swing...and the homework sucks.
I know my Nuzlocke is a little late...I should work on it more, I know.
But on to the major point: Pokemon White needs to HURRY UP AND GET TO AMERICA ALREADY!!!!!!
(I want that game so freakin' much T.T)
I already have my team planned out and half nicknamed....I should be focusing on school more....
Yeah, haven't been posting anything recently. School started back up and i've gotten more homework this year than the last (only third week T-T). a few friends of mine (two of which have a profile on the da) are helping me with my manga that i'm trying to make. One finally gave me a good idea for the title, "Remnants of FATE". I've got 4 pages of the piolt done and actually plan on summiting it to (hopefully) get puplished. I really like the idea and have told the story to a few friends who've said it was really good so i'm gonna give it a shot. :)
